Music therapists use music to address individualized physical, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual goals within a therapeutic relationship. They work in schools, healthcare facilities, long-term care agencies, and community settings with individuals across the lifespan. The Department of Music Therapy’s mission is to train and produce qualified music therapists who make a significant impact on meeting these growing demands for music therapy services. We are seeking support to equip our students in their education and training.
We are also celebrating our 10th anniversary of our undergraduate music therapy program in Fall 2024! A donation to the Department of Music Therapy will support both our students as well as our exciting anniversary projects, which include cutting-edge continuing education opportunities and honoring our past, present and future.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support on Giving Day 2024!
